Please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for walking to the park; if it rains, we’ll be staying in school and will notify you on the day. Your child will need a drink and any medication that they need (e.g. an inhaler). For safety and security, we’ll look after children’s phones if they bring them, but children can choose to bring a separate camera with them if they wish to take pictures.
The gates won’t open for the children until 1.30 (when lunches have finished for the children in school), so please don’t send them any earlier than that. If you are collecting your child from the park at 4.00, please make sure that you tell a teacher before you take them.
A huge thank you to ‘Jacks’ of Rubery who have very kindly donated critical items to The Meadows School over the last week. They have donated vital cleaning equipment at a time when sourcing this has been very difficult and they also made an extremely generous donation of foodstuff to be added to our school food bank. We thank them very much for their generosity and community spirit.
We all need a little bit of help at times, so please do feel free to use this service. To enable us to put the bags together, we need some information about your household. Please could you fill in the sections of the form and we will contact you about collection. Collection will be on a Friday afternoon between 1:30pm and 4:00pm.
THIS IS A CONFIDENTIAL SERVICE AND INFORMATION WILL NOT BE SHARED OUTSIDE OF THE PASTORAL TEAM.
The Meadows Primary School is part of the Colmers Area and the SGO (School Games Organiser) has produced lots of useful resources/links to keep children active at home. Click here to visit the Colmers Area School Games web page.
There are ideas/activities for all age groups on there and it is a very easy site to navigate.Hopefully, you will find the site useful and it will provide you with more ‘PE’ ideas to supplement what you are doing already.
At The Meadows, we recognise that you may be feeling alone during this difficult time and we want you to know that we are here for you. Sometimes the pressure of family life is simply too much to cope with alone.
