On Thursday 23rd April, our girls football team played their first football match in the Kings Norton summer league. We played against Raddlebarn Primary. We raced into a 2 goal lead, Isobel with both goals. In the second half we defended fantastically and although Raddlebarn pulled a goal back, we hung on for a 2-1 win.
There will be five more league games to play over the summer term and if the girls repeat today’s performance then they have a chance of winning the league.
All before and after school sports clubs are now up and running for the summer term. Football, multi-skills and cricket clubs have started and tag rugby will also be starting shortly. As well as the clubs, we will also be competing in many sporting fixtures this term. Football, hockey, cricket, athletics, netball, tag rugby, rounders and tri-golf are the sports that our school teams will be taking part in. Keep checking the blog for regular updates.
